Optically Active is the photographic clearinghouse of Joann Edmonds-Rodgers. She resides in Seattle, Washington, USA with her husband Jody and former alleycat Bungalow.
Her photography interest began in highschool with her mom's Canon A-1. There were subsequent classes in 35mm and 4x5, as well as a stint working in a photolab. An attempt 7 or 8 years ago to "be serious" and "go pro" dampened her photography enthusiasm for a few years. Then, she discovered the photoblog revolution and digital. Happy, happy day! Photography was fun again! Now, she's buying old rangefinders off ebay, reading up on Holga mods, and continuing her exploration of digital photography.
